The current favourite is Elvacite (an acrylic resin - mix 10% in turpentine). Another option is PolyVinyl Alcohol (PVA - mix powder in a water/ethanol) Cheers again ----- Hi, I don't recall ever using anything except ethanol or acetone to make a slurry for use on ZBP's. However, I think the material you might be thinking of is Methyl Methacrylate - the XRF guys use it as a pressed powder sample binder. I will ask them later to discover their current favourite.
