Data from three scattering
techniques (x-ray, neutron, and electron diffraction) can be used
by popLA to determine a three-dimensional orientation distribution
through WIMV (named for the authors of the technique) or harmonics
reduction methods. The 3-D orientation can then be used to generate
a representative set of weighted orientations.
The weighed orientations can serve as input to any secondary deformation
simulation code.
