Endeavour is partly based on the proven Diamond visualization technology. Hence, the program is much more than a black box solving crystal structures: You can watch Endeavour working! During the structure solution process, the current structural model is repeatedly visualized using the so-called "Auto-Builder". Starting from a random cloud of atoms you can follow the atoms arranging more and more until the final structure is reached.

The Auto-Builder can be customized as to best visualize your crystal structure, e.g. using polyhedra or molecules.
