Error Code 30

Press the heater key, then the clear alarm button. This is used to clear the red error light at the back of generator. Once this has been done you should now get a green light.  Press the ON key to start the generator. If this fails see next error.

Switch off generator, switch off the D8 controller and leave for 10secs.

Switch on D8 controller wait for the floppy to boot. This finishes booting when the busy light goes out on the right hand side of the system.

Switch on the generator, press the heater key, then the ON key. The generator will now start OK.

Collection finishes but shutter stays open and sample stage continues to spin.

On some occasions the circles carry on driving.

First try running another job and stopping it. Sometimes this stops the circles driving and closes the shutter.

Edit job call it say Test  67-70.dql. Execute job. If the job runs Abort and all should be OK.

If this fails the only solution is to power down the D8 controller.

If you have manual control to the generator power down by dropping the current and voltage to 20kV and 5mA. It is unlikely you will be able to do this. Now switch off the D8 controller and leave for 10secs. Switch on D8 controller wait for the floppy to boot. Switch on the generator, press the heater key, then the ON key.
