Notice to users making copies of the PROFIL suite of programs

Academic (and non-commercial) users are free to copy the powder diffraction
software in directory [public.pdpl...] on this computer for their personal
research. Please note that the software is not "public domain" and is not
for distribution or commercial use without express permission of the author.

Whilst every effort is made to produce reliable user-friendly software of
benefit to the academic community as a whole, no liability is accepted for
bugs or anomalies in the software.

Users are warned that the software lifetime is usually three years from
the date of last compilation and after this date a new version will have to
be obtained. In this way old versions of the software expire.

I would also be grateful if you email me your name and address the first time
that you take a copy of this software so that I am aware of the current users
of the programs. As with all software, comments are always welcome.
